I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. September sure snuck up on me. I can't believe Labor Day is just around the corner. We've had some very hot days here in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix area) this summer, but September is the month where our nights finally begin to cool off and we get outside more. I love having the windows open, especially when writing.

Publishing news: The Mask of Tamirella is finally available for the Kindle. Believe it or not, we're still waiting for Amazon to post the Kindle version of Desert Magick: Superstitions. They seem to take their time with this one and it's highly frustrating for both me and my publisher. If any of you are amazon members, maybe you can send them a message asking about it. =) All of my eBooks are available at various online bookstores in just about any format, and my paperbacks are available for order from Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites, and many more, as well as through most brick-and-mortar bookstores. Current writings: Due to some personal issues, which I'll explain at a later date, my publisher has given me an extension on my next Desert Magick book. We still hope to have it available by the end of the year, but I'll certainly let you know how things are progressing. Public appearances: The webmistress who manages ICPIR's website is still having computer problems, but she will get the photos, disembodied voices, and other evidence posted from the Bisbee ghost hunt weekend as soon as she can. I'm getting more and more contacts on Facebook these days, and post many of my updates there, as well as my blog. In fact, nearly 1/3 of my recent website visits have come from Facebook friends. If you're a member, please friend me. If you're not a member, you might want to consider joining. It's free and a great way to stay in touch. Fun Stuff: When things get crazy, physical exercise helps me keep stress down. For fun, I take belly dance workout classes, and readers will see influences of these fun workouts in my next novel, as well as influences from my paranormal investigations. Hubby and I will be visiting Egypt this fall and I have no doubt those experiences will pop up in my books in one form or another. And, of course, I'll post photos once we return.
